1965 Jaguar E type Series One 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe finished in Carmen red with beautiful black hide interior. This is UK supplied, original right hand drive, matching numbers motor car that has been owned by the same enthusiastic owner for the last 5 years. Prior to his ownership it has had only 5 previous keepers and in the early 2000’s it was the subject of a total restoration. The whole process was photographed and recorded within the extensive history files. The car was stripped to a bare tub, including removal of the front frames and from the superb condition of the bonnet, it appears that it was replaced with new. During the restoration, various upgrades were incorporated which have included ventilated and drilled front discs with 4 pot calipers, improved servo unit, aluminium water radiator with electric cooling fan, stainless steel exhaust complete with matching manifolds, an alternator, a 5 speed all synchro gearbox, a discreet fuel cut-off switch for added security, black matching seat belts and new chrome wire wheels with perfect Verdestine radial tyres.
