1968 Jaguar E Type 2+2 FHC
1968 Jaguar 4.2 E type 2+2 Series II finished in Masons black with exceptionally nice black hide interior and sitting on chrome wire wheels which are in excellent condition. Imported from the States and professionally converted to right hand drive and with the benefit of a triple Weber Carburettor upgrade giving more than ample power. Having placed the car on our ramp it became obvious that it has been the subject of recent replacement of springs and shock absorbers and the exhaust system remains in good order. Also from the condition of the underside of this car it is evident that it does not appear to have had any corrosion in the past. From a mechanical standpoint, the engine runs quietly, the operation of the clutch is smooth and the gearbox is operating correctly and most importantly the car stops efficiently when required. The specification includes manual transmission and the upgrade to the fuel system by the installation of tripple Weber carburettors. It has just been fully serviced and the heater fan and matrix replaced and the car is now ready for the next lucky custodian. We are currently in the process of obtaining a British Registration number from the DVLA. In all this is a very presentable E type that will require some minor improvements to the paintwork but is very reasonably priced at only £49,950
