Description

1966 Aston Martin DB6

1966 Aston Martin DB6 finished in Autumn Gold with black Connolly hide interior. Built in the second year of manufacture, replacing the ever popular but far more expensive DB5, made eternally famous by Ian Fleming’s 007 James Bond. The DB6 scores over the DB5 in many ways, not least of which as it is noticeably roomier inside, being able to accommodate the driver and 3 adult passengers in great comfort at a considerably reduced noise level. This example has the benefit of the desirable 5 speed ZF gearbox which according to AM advertising claims at the time of production, will propel the car from zero to 70 MPH in 7.4 seconds. We are not about to pretend that this car is in pristine condition, as the price reflects, but it is fair to say that it is in very useable condition but would benefit from some cosmetic improvements, all of which we could do on behalf of the next owner if required. The Black hide interior has remained in reasonable condition and only minor inexpensive paintwork is required to greatly improve the exterior appearance. More information on request and a prospective buyer should not be disappointed at our low asking price of £150,000
