Description

1967 MG MGB Roadster

1967 MGB Roadster finished in Tartan Red with contrasting black hide interior. Having purchased an MGB at the age of 21, supported by a finance agreement, these cars have always been a favourite of mine, despite moving onto numerous hand built British Motor cars. This particular MGB has been the subject of a total, high quality restoration and is beautifully finished. The paintwork is completely unblemished and the interior leather and carpets look as though they were fitted yesterday. The soft top is in as new condition and with the car is a matching tonneau cover. It sits on silver painted wire wheels and has the benefit of Overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears, reducing engine revolutions for motorway cruising. Everything about this car suggests that the previous owners have taken great care and the older restoration included a new Heritage body shell, hence the whole car is completely corrosion free. When driving, the engine performs extremely well and the overdrive clicks in without any lag. You can find MGB's for considerably less than our conservative asking price but if you want the best, look no further. £18,950
